Getting Featured on Arcadible

Featured is the list of games Arcadible picks by hand. It's in Explore, and in the library of a player who hasn't played anything yet, so it's often the first thing a new player sees. Any public game can be considered, and you can ask for yours.

What we look for

  • It's finished. A game players can enjoy from start to end, or for as long as they like, without running into bugs or missing pieces.
  • It plays well where it says it does. Every input in inputs works, and a game that lists touch plays well on a phone (Testing Your Game).
  • It loads fast and keeps progress. It starts quickly on a mobile connection, and keeps a player's progress across updates (Best Practices, Saves).
  • Its store page shows it well. Featured shows the poster, the icon, the title, and the tagline, and players decide from the screenshots and the description (Your Store Page).
  • It's its own. The art, the text, and the idea are the game's, not a starter's placeholders.

In Arcadible Studio, open the game's Overview. Once the game is released and public, Get featured has Request to be featured, which starts an email to featured@arcadible.com with the game's name and store page filled in. Add what makes it special, and a link to a video of it being played if you have one.

Until the store page has an icon, a poster, a cover, screenshots, a tagline, and a description, Get featured lists what's missing, with See the store page, instead of the request.

We read every request, but can't answer each one. If your game is picked, it appears in Featured; Arcadible may change what's featured at any time. Asking again after a big update is welcome.
